日本国際保健医療学会第43回西日本地方会のご案内
The long-term fight against the new coronavirus has exhausted our society, but on the other hand, we feel that it is time to move forward toward a new era of post-corona or with-corona. Especially in the medical field, we believe that further cooperation between medical professionals and related industries is necessary so that we can dispel various anxieties of people who are frightened not only by social situation but also by their own health. Even in the coronal disasters, society is steadily aging, and the role of medical care for spinal diseases is increasing more and more. Patient’s physical and neural functions have declined considerably due to "Stay at Home" so far, and we believe that it is necessary not only to recover them, but also to take measures to prevent diseases and improve their functions. Medical care should never be stagnant in any era. In the field of cervical spine medicine, which we specialize in, the Cervical Spine Research Society (CSRS) was established in 1973 to promote international academic activities. After that, CSRS-Europe was started in 1984, and our CSRS-Asia Pacific Section (CSRS-AP) was established in 2010, and these three organizations are working together to lead cervical care around the world. Our enthusiasm has not diminished even in the current disaster, and each society continues to hold academic meetings and is preparing for the construction of a new education and research system in collaboration with the three societies.
The 13th annual meeting of CSRS-AP will be held in Yokohama from March 9th to 11th, 2023. This time, we will take this event as an opportunity to overcome the pandemic and to restart our endless quest for the future. We plan to hold a face-to-face format where participants from all over the world gather in Japan. The theme of the conference was "Cervical Spine, Between Head & Heart". It is a phrase with the desire to reacknowledge the importance of the cervical spine that connects the head (Head) that is essential for human beings to be intelligent and the heart (Heart), which is the source of life. When dealing with cervical spinal disorders, we must engage in treatment with deep knowledge and broad perspective across the central nervous system, vascular system, and musculoskeletal system. So, we need a lot of discussion to take a new step in the endless path of medical quest.
We have already set up an organizing committee and have started to prepare the 13th annual meeting in Yokohama. I hope that many of you will join a face to face conference after a long absence and develop a meaningful discussion for better cervical medical care.
Thank you.
